Abstract

In 2005 Enppi developed a techno economic process study for maximization C2 & C3 from western desert gas fields. During this study many options, process scenarios and technologies were studied to select the optimum.

This study was the prestart point and further optimized during the current EPC project targeting to produce C2 & C3 from Amerya plant at max. possible recovery with maximum use for the existing process and utilities facilities.

This paper presets an overview for the process aspects of the study and the current project related to Amerya plant.
