Abstract
The electrocatalytic degradation of methanol using titanium/platinumrhodium modified electrode was investigated. The results of electrocatalytic
oxidation process of the methanol were expressed in terms of remaining
methanol concentration, COD, and total organic carbon removal, which
were determined experimentally. Different operating conditions such as
applied current density, pH, electrolysis time, temperature, …etc were
studied. The under-development modified electrode gave good results for
the complete removal of methanol from its solutions.
